Haven’t updated your bathroom in a while? If your toilet is an older high flow toilet, save yourself some money by throwing a brick in the tank (well, not a brick, I’ll get into why not in a second).
The water that the ‘brick’ displaces can really add up, saving you a 1/2 gallon per flush or about 10 gallons of water a day! Over a year that can really add up, and believe me, you won’t notice a difference in your ‘flush power’.
Why not a brick? We recommend using a plastic bottle filled with sand and water instead of a brick. Bricks submerged in water tend to disintegrate over time and can cause plumbing problems.
